110 years Commemorative Art Work

Aunty Kathy Dodd Farrawell is an amazing local woman and Grandmother to girls and boys of the Leichhardt Wanderers. As an accomplished and award-winning artist, Aunty Kathy provides a strong connection to her culture through her artworks as she creates her beautiful murals in gardens and indoor spaces.

A proud Kaanju-Birri woman, we called upon Aunty Kathy to commemorate our 110 years of Leichhardt wanderers in the form of an aboriginal painting that would incorporate the land, water and people which our club was founded on so we could re create on Polos and training shirts for our Volunteers and players.

As you can see below we could not be happier of the outcome as we Acknowledge the traditional custodians of these lands and the Gadigal- Wangal people of the Eora Nation which Blackmore is situated on
We hope the players and officials enjoy this special gift from our club to commemorate this momentous occasion
